Care in detail
Thrives in medium to bright light year-round. Outdoors it can sunburn in full sun.
Let the soil dry slightly between thorough waterings. Its thick roots handle irregular watering, but overwatering causes root rot.
Usually caused by low humidity, very dry soil, salt build-up or chemicals in tap water (fluoride, chlorine). Too much fertilizer can add to it. Rainwater or distilled water helps.
Set the plantlets on potting mix while still attached to the parent; cut the connecting stem once they have rooted.
Listed as safe for pets.
